Genoa (Part 3- I Palazzi Rolli delle Strade Nuove)
Strade Nuove, is a group of streets built by Genoese aristocracy in a time when the city was gaining economic and financial power from bankers and traders, that was reflected in urban expansion and the construction of wealthy private residences. They include Strada Nuova, Via Balbi and Via Cairoli,
I was commisioned by Zuroweste Architecture Studio to photograph the Neighborhood “Shote Galica” in Fushe Kruje. The Project is a Postdisaster Social Housing and Urban Design, by ZA (Zuroweste Architecture), developed in response to Albania’s devastating November 2019 earthquake - which left 51 dead, 3,000 hospitalized, and 32,000 homeless.
